Welcome to the Launceston Festival of Dance Inc ...

Welcome to the 2017 Launceston Festival of Dance.  This year is our 26th year of competition. Our Festival commenced in 1991 with 300 entries. This year we are anticipating over 2000 entries, covering a broad range of Solos, Duos/Trios and Group disciplines in:

  • Jazz
  • Tap
  • Classical
  • Broadway
  • Modern/Neo
  • National
  • Theatrical.
Launceston Festival of Dance Inc. is a member of the Association of Eisteddfod Societies of Australia (AESA).

    ADJUDICATOR
    We would like to announce our Adjudicator for this 2017 is Lisa Maloney.

    ENTRIES
    Entries open for 2017 on th 1st June and close on the 18th July 2017. No late entries will be accepted. If you have any questions please contact the Sectretary or Treasurer by email.

    Our dates for 2017 are Friday 29 September until Saturday 7 October. This year is our 26th year and we are looking forward to a fantastic Festival.
